These websites are designed to give specific guidance on the UK curriculum for various age levels and subjects. All state schools are required to run these curricula.

This site offers you interactive ideas to help you plan your lessons and engage the children as best as possible. This website is specific for the primary sector.
The National Strategies Website
These practical materials are designed to help teachers focus on the core business of improving teaching and learning and offers support to both new and experienced teachers. Resources are drawn from existing practice to inform CPD, stimulate your thinking and develop your practice. E-learning courses are available which can be completed as part of your CPD.

Department for Education
The Department for Education is responsible for education and children’s services across state maintained schools in the UK. This website contains the most up to date information available on changes to education system.
Training Development Agency
The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is the national agency and recognised sector body responsible for the training and development of the school workforce.
National CPD Database
The national continuing professional development (CPD) database provides members of the children's workforce in schools in England with an authoritative source of information on CPD opportunities from participating providers. You can search or browse the database for free to find opportunities that meet your requirements.
General Teaching Council for England
The GTC is the professional body for teaching in England. Their overall purpose is to work in the public interest to help improve standards of teaching and learning.
OTT’s Obtaining QTS
Teachers trained outside of England but within the European Economic Area (EEA) may apply for Qualified Teacher Status for England without the need for further training. For more information on how to apply or to download the application form required please go to:

Photocopying and Resource Availability
Vision Teaching supply staff are given access to photocopiers and computers, these are made available upon request at the London office.
