We are urgently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to provide 1-2-1 support for pupils with SEN who can display challenging behaviour. This role is available across a number of Primary schools in Kingston. Ideally you will hold an SEN or Teaching Assistant qualification. Experience with SEN and managing challenging behaviour is essential for the roles available and you must have at least 1 years continuous experience in a school setting.
The Role -Support the childrens emotional needs as well as providing academic support, delivering lessons planned by the class teacher. -Assist the class teacher and other staff in carrying out an appropriate planned program of work to meet the needs of the particular children. -Encourage independence and support children 1-2-1 and in small groups. -Provide feedback to teachers and parents to go though progression. -Reduce time spent out of class and implement behaviour management techn
