SEND Science Teacher - KS3/KS4

Vision Teaching are currently supporting a lovely, well stablished special needs school located in Wandsworth, a short walk from Barnes station so transport links are excellent. This supportive school are looking for a Qualified Science Teacher to deliver the Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum. The successful candidate must have the ability to teach Physics as part of this role.

Ideal candidate: DBS on the update service or willing to apply Previous SEND experience with KS3/KS4 Qualified teacher status Previous experience teaching pupils with Autism and associated learning difficulties Available full time form September Ability to teach Physics

This role includes: • Teaching a class of pupils, ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning, speech and language and social needs; • Maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom; • Providing timely and accurate reports to all stakeholders including SLT, parent/carers and Local Authority caseworkers

• Providing accurate assessments of learning and progress and matched against aspirational and appropriate targets; Maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom and to promote independence and the love of learning.
